Darriana Thompson

Darriana Thompson is a dedicated student at The University of Alabama pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering, with an expected graduation date in December 2025. Currently serving as the Crimson Scholars Student Coordinator, Darriana collaborates with the Academic Program Coordinator to develop and facilitate mentor training and retreats. Additionally, Darriana holds roles such as President of H.E.A.R.T, Vice President of the National Society of Black Engineers, and Student Ambassador for the UA College of Engineering, actively enhancing the academic experiences of peers and promoting community engagement. Previous experiences include serving as a Front Office Assistant and various positions within the Crimson Scholars program, demonstrating commitment to supporting incoming students and building a welcoming university environment.
