Eric Courchesne

Eric Courchesne is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program development, nonprofit management, and community outreach. As the Director of Program Development and Deployment at The University of Alabama since August 2016, Eric assists in coordinating technology transfer and education initiatives. Eric serves as a CEO and co-founder of Future Streets Design, LLC, an AI company focused on urban planning, and as the Founder and CEO of Oak Philanthropy, which emphasizes transformative philanthropic efforts. Previous roles include interim executive director positions at UPerk Coffee and Schoolyard Roots, where Eric focused on financial sustainability and local food movements, respectively. Eric's earlier experience includes significant roles in fundraising and program management, with a strong emphasis on community engagement and strategic partnerships. Eric holds a Master's in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Alabama and has degrees in Environmental Studies, Political Science, and Psychology from the University of Toronto and Concordia University.
