Jeffrey Martin

Jeffrey Martin is an accomplished academic with significant experience in management and entrepreneurship. Currently an Associate Professor of Management at The University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa since June 2010, Jeffrey teaches courses in strategy, entrepreneurship, and technology commercialization, with research focused on developing competitive advantages through dynamic capabilities. Additionally, Jeffrey is a long-standing member of the Academy of Management since 1996. A notable role included serving as a Visiting Professor for the United States Department of the Air Force from October 2018 to September 2020, where responsibilities entailed enhancing innovation across academic programs. Previous positions include teaching at the University of Texas at Austin and serving in marketing and management consulting roles at Matridigm and IBM. Jeffrey holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Stanford University, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
