Parnab Das

Parnab Das is a PhD candidate at The University of Alabama, working under the supervision of Dr. Mark Elliott in the Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering department since August 2015. Prior to this, Parnab Das completed a Master of Technology in Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, from August 2011 to May 2013. During this time, Parnab Das served as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on research related to water contaminants and water quality, with a thesis examining the effects of metal nanoparticles on aerobic bacteria in both surface water and wastewater. Parnab Das holds a Master's degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from The University of Alabama, completed between May 2017 and January 2020.
