Piyush Pawar

Piyush Pawar is an Engineering Researcher at The University of Alabama, contributing to the Alabama Transportation Institute and the Institute of Social Science Research since September 2023, with a focus on building AI technologies. Prior to this role, Piyush held various positions at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from July 2018 to September 2023, progressing from Researcher to Programmer/Analyst II within the Department of Psychology's Translational Research in Injury Prevention Lab, where responsibilities included developing algorithms for data cleaning and machine learning solutions using driving simulation data. Piyush also gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and an intern in the field of big data analysis and application development, and previously interned at H7Tech, focusing on hardware circuit maintenance and assembly. Piyush holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology.
