Stephanie Pettis

Stephanie Pettis, APR, CPRC, is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Communications at The University of Alabama since March 2021, focusing on strategic initiatives and analytics. Prior to this role, Stephanie held the position of Vice President of Planning and Strategy at 25th Hour Communications from July 2018 to March 2021. Additional experience includes serving as the Director of Strategic Communications at Northwest Florida State College (2013-2018), Communications Specialist positions at ThyssenKrupp Steel USA (2011-2013), and Clarke Washington Electric Cooperative (1999-2003), as well as the Director of Public Information at Alabama Southern Community College (2004-2011) and Communications Specialist at Merchants Bank (2003-2004). Stephanie holds a Master of Science in Strategic Communications from Troy University, a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Southern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Print Journalism/Public Relations from Troy University.
