Dalal Alharthi

Dalal Alharthi, Ph.D., currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona since August 2021, teaching courses such as Violent Python, Cyber Warfare, and Cloud Security. Previously, Dalal held the position of Resident Engineer at Palo Alto Networks and has a rich background in academia, including roles as a Teaching Assistant and Researcher at UC Irvine. Dalal co-founded the WiCyS Student Chapter at UC Irvine, served as Vice President for the WiCyS Farmers Insurance Affiliate, and contributed to various cybersecurity committees. With substantial experience as a Cloud Security Engineer at Farmers Insurance and prior roles in electronic media and programming, Dalal holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Computer Science from UC Irvine, alongside a Master's in Public Administration from King Saud University.
