Mary Beth Tucker

Mary Beth Tucker has been a key leader at the University of Arizona since October 1998, currently serving as Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer, as well as Vice President for Equity and Title IX. Tucker’s roles have included interim leadership in compliance, oversight of the University's Title IX initiatives, and management of HR Consulting Services. Previous positions at the university include Executive Director and Director of the Office of Institutional Equity, where significant contributions were made in investigating discrimination complaints and developing compliance protocols. Earlier experience includes serving as a Compliance Officer at the U.S. Department of Labor, focusing on federal contractors’ hiring practices and investigating discriminatory practices. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law from the University of Arizona's James E. Rogers College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Philosophy from the University of Dallas.
