Sanlyn Buxner

Sanlyn Buxner is a Research Professor and Director of Graduate Studies at the University of Arizona since August 2020, and also serves as a Senior Research Scientist and Senior Education and Communication Specialist at the Planetary Science Institute from December 2019. Previously, Buxner held the position of Assistant Research Professor at the University of Arizona College of Education from August 2013 to August 2020 and worked as an Education Specialist and Research Scientist at the Planetary Science Institute from January 2010 to August 2013. Additionally, Buxner was a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the College of Science at the University of Arizona between August 2010 and July 2013. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Science Education and a Master's degree in Teacher and Teacher Education from the University of Arizona, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
