Emily Chase

Emily Chase is an accomplished healthcare executive currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the University of Chicago Medical Center. Previous leadership roles include Chief Nursing Officer and Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services at the same institution, as well as Vice President at Comer Children’s Hospital. Emily Chase has also held the position of Interim President and CEO at Ingalls and has contributed to academic instruction as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor in the Doctorate of Nursing Program at Saint Mary's College. In the earlier stages of the career, Emily Chase managed patient care operations in Pediatric and Cardiac Intensive Care Units at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and worked as a staff nurse in the same departments. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Saint Mary's College.
