Ian O'Malley

Ian O'Malley, MS, currently serves as the Executive Director of Strategic Sourcing at UChicago Medicine, a position held since September 2011, after progressing through various roles including Director, Assistant Director, and Senior Sourcing Category Leader. O'Malley oversees a team focused on the strategic sourcing of supplies, implants, equipment, and services across The University of Chicago Medicine’s Operating Rooms and clinics, driving cost savings through effective contract negotiations and collaboration with physicians. Prior experience includes roles at Loyola University Medical Center, Acciona Energy, Ferguson Enterprises, and extensive education in Supply Chain Management from Elmhurst University.
