Tyler Bauer has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Tyler is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of System Ambulatory Operations at UChicago Medicine. Prior to this role, they held various senior leadership positions at NorthShore University HealthSystem, including Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations, Vice President of Medical Group, Assistant Vice President of Medical Group, and Director of Medical Group Operations. Before joining NorthShore, Tyler was the Chief Operating Officer at Hartgrove Behavioral Health System. Tyler also worked as a Clinical Manager at Children's Memorial Hospital and held roles as a Director of Assessment & Referral at Universal Health Services and Ardent Health Services. Tyler began their career at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center as a member of the Emergency Department Crisis Team.

Tyler Bauer attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology/Pre-Med. Tyler then went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology at Wheaton College from 1995 to 1997. Later in their career, Tyler pursued further education and obtained an MBA degree from National Louis University from 2006 to 2009.
