Benjamin B. is an experienced professional in the fields of AI and cybersecurity, currently serving as an Instructor at the University of Chicago since October 2023. With extensive experience at Argonne National Laboratory since April 2021, Benjamin holds positions as Group Lead in Strategic Security Sciences, Applied Research, and Researcher for Artificial Intelligence in Cybersecurity. Since August 2020, Benjamin has been the Owner of Meadowdark, LLC. Previously, Benjamin was an Assistant Teaching Professor at Iowa State University from August 2019 to May 2023 and held several leadership roles at Dwolla, including Director of Data Intelligence and Information Security Officer, from April 2019 to March 2022. Earlier career roles include cybersecurity and information security positions at Argonne National Laboratory, Workiva Inc, and Krell Institute, as well as research assistance at Iowa State University and a cooperative student role at the Department of Defense. Benjamin earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with a minor in Psychology and a PhD in Computer Engineering with a minor in Political Science from Iowa State University.
