Elisa Xu

Elisa Xu is a seasoned media relations analyst currently working at the University of Chicago since June 2025. Previously, Elisa served as a staff analyst and reporter at NewsGuard, focusing on fact-checking health and vaccine-related misinformation and reviewing news source credibility. Elisa has also contributed to Business Insider as a special projects fellow and held various roles in communications and marketing, including internships at the Carter Center, Young Hot & Modern, and Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum. Elisa holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, East Asian Studies, and Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.
