Eric Heath

Eric Heath is the Associate Vice President for Campus Safety & Security at The University of Chicago. Prior to their current position, Eric worked as a Senior Financial Systems Analyst at Loyola University Chicago from July 2014 to February 2022. In this role, they were responsible for setting up and maintaining the back-end system infrastructure for student billing, developing and coding ad hoc WebFocus reports to support finance users, designing PeopleSoft queries to support department needs and consolidate university data, analyzing student account data to identify trends and communicate results to senior administrators, setting up, testing, and running all jobs related to annually producing 1098-T Tax Forms for Loyola students, auditing tuition and fee rates to ensure all students are being charged correctly based on enrollment, and serving as a liaison between IT and the Finance Division for the PeopleSoft Student Financials application.

Before working at Loyola University Chicago, Eric was the Payroll and HR Assistant at IES Abroad from August 2010 to July 2014. In this role, they were responsible for processing payroll for over 400 employees, managing employee benefits and leave of absences, maintaining employee files, and assisting with recruitment efforts.

Prior to their career in higher education administration, Eric worked as an Activities and Volunteer Coordinator at Sunrise Senior Living from January 2009 to December 2010. In this role, they coordinated activities and volunteers for residents of the assisted living facility, oversaw the budget for the Activities Department, and developed marketing materials to promote the facility's

Eric Heath has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Loyola University Chicago with a concentration in Information Systems, a Certificate in Business Data Analytics from Loyola University Chicago, and a B.A. from Wheaton College in German Studies and Theology.

Eric Heath reports to Kim Taylor, VP and General Counsel. They work with Ellen Wetmore - Assistant General Counsel, Smita Singh - Assistant General Counsel, and Stefan Quick - Associate General Counsel.
