Olufunmilayo Olopade

Olufunmilayo (Funmi) Olopade serves as the Walter L. Palmer Distinguished Service Professor and Associate Dean for Global Health at the University of Chicago, where responsibilities include directing the Center for Clinical Cancer Genetics and Global Health. Additionally, Olopade holds the title of Professor of Medicine and is a Fellow at the Pritzker School of Medicine. Prior to this role, Olopade was the Chief Resident at Cook County Hospital in 1986. Academic credentials include an MBBS in Medicine from the University of Ibadan, obtained between 1975 and 1980.
