Ossama Elroos is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the Director of Business Application Management at the University of Chicago since August 2023, where oversight includes the management and optimization of the ARD’s software portfolio. Prior experience includes a tenure at Henry Ford Learning Institute from April 2017 to August 2023, first as the Associate Director of Information Technology and then as Director of Information Technology, focusing on strategic alignment and technology transformation. Elroos also served as Adjunct Faculty for the CIS program at ECPI University and held positions at Pratt Institute, where significant improvements in computing facilities were achieved. Earlier, Elroos taught computer science and was a system administrator at Crescent School and taught English at Damietta High School. Ossama Elroos holds a Master’s Degree in Information Systems from Baruch College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, English from Mansoura University in Egypt.
