Raymond Stainback

Raymond Stainback, MD, FACC, is a seasoned cardiologist currently serving as a Fellow in the Leadership & Society Initiative at the University of Chicago since September 2024. Since January 1996, Dr. Stainback has practiced general and noninvasive cardiology at Hall-Garcia Cardiology Associates within the Baylor College of Medicine, located in the Texas Medical Center, Houston, TX. Previously, Dr. Stainback held prominent positions as Medical Director of Non-invasive Cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute and Chief of Non-invasive Cardiology at CHI St. Luke's Health - Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center until July 2024. Leadership roles include Past President of the American Society of Echocardiography, and the Greater Houston Society of Echo-Vascular, along with serving as Past President of the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission's Echocardiography division. Dr. Stainback's educational background includes multiple degrees in medicine and cardiology from prestigious institutions, culminating in an MD from Baylor College of Medicine.
