Tina Oberoi

Tina Oberoi currently serves as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Chicago, focusing on GPU programming. With experience as a Quantum Algorithms Intern at Rigetti Computing and a Research Assistant at Q-NEXT, Tina has developed a strong foundation in quantum computing. Previous roles include a Teaching Assistant position at the Quantum Open Source Foundation and a Quantum Software Intern at Quantum Dice. Tina's early career includes significant software engineering roles at Microsoft, where contributions included developing intelligent recommendation systems and improving system performance. Tina also completed internships focused on DevOps and software development, contributing to improved reliability and monitoring systems. Tina holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Quantum Information Science and a Master's in Computer Science, both from the University of Chicago, along with a Bachelor's in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
