Yury Makarychev

Yury Makarychev is a prominent academic and researcher in the field of computer science, currently serving as a Professor at both the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (TTIC) and The University of Chicago since September 2009. Previously, Yury held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at Microsoft Research from July 2007 to June 2009 and worked as a Software Developer at Siebel Systems between January 2002 and August 2003. Yury earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Princeton University, where studies took place from 2003 to 2007, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), completed in 2001.
