Frank Armstrong

Frank is an experienced, medically qualified, Pharmaceutical Executive who has worked to Board level in the UK, US, Switzerland and Germany. He currently works as an Independent Advisor, Chairman and Board Member to Life Science Companies in the UK, EU and US. He previously led Medical and Development organisations in major Pharma companies (ICI/Zeneca, Bayer and Merck Serono) and has been the CEO of a range of Life Sciences Companies in the UK and US. He has been responsible for the development of a number of new treatments for infectious, respiratory and neurological diseases and cancer. He has experience of working with inventors and Universities in translational research. Currently, Frank is Chair of Faron Pharmaceuticals and Caldan Therapeutics, a Board Member of Newcells Biotech and ECO Animal Health and acts as an advisor (Scientific Advisory Board Member) to Healthcare Royalty Partners and Epidarex. He was previously the Chair of a charity active in HIV/AIDS education in Uganda. Frank is a graduate of Edinburgh University in Biochemistry and Medicine and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh and a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine.
