Rosanna MacCagnano

Rosanna Maccagnano has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Their most recent position was as Head of Business Operations at Edinburgh College of Art, where they were responsible for managing and developing professional services across various areas of business management and operations. Rosanna also contributed to overall strategy and management within the organization. Prior to this role, Rosanna worked at The University of Edinburgh, holding positions such as UK Research Funding Manager, Research Excellence Officer for the College of Science & Engineering, Research Support Services Manager, Deputy Head of Researcher Development, GeoSciences Research Organisation Manager, and Research Training & Development Manager. Their responsibilities in these roles included coordinating support for research proposals, developing systems and processes for research support, and providing professional and career development for research staff. Rosanna began their career at EMBL, where they held the position of Senior Administration - Operational Support. In this role, they developed and managed operational support services for the mouse biology program and provided strategic, financial, and operational advice to the organization's senior management.

Rosanna Maccagnano obtained a Bachelor's degree in Open Studies from The Open University from 2005 to 2011. In 2011, they acquired a Professional Certificate in Management from The Open University. Rosanna is currently pursuing an Award in First Aid for Mental Health from First Aid Awards (FAA), which they started in an unknown year and will complete in 2022. Additionally, in 2023, they plan to complete a course on Leading First Aid for Mental Health from First Aid Awards (FAA).
