Timothy Maloney has extensive experience in security, crisis management, and education, currently serving as an instructor/trainer for the "School Crisis Preparedness" course at The University of Findlay since May 2009. Previously, Timothy worked as a security consultant for the American Homeland Security Consulting Group, and as the Assistant Director for the Center for Public Safety at Mercyhurst University, where responsibility included coordinating law enforcement and firefighter training. Timothy's background also includes investigative work as an Erie County Detective and significant tenure as an FBI Special Agent, where roles encompassed hostage negotiation and fugitive task force coordination. Earlier professional experiences include senior correctional counseling, juvenile probation, and military service as a finance specialist in the United States Army. Timothy holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Education and Social Sciences from Gannon University, and a BS in Psychology from PennWest Edinboro.
