Aamir Walton

Aamir Walton is an experienced fundraising professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Development at The University of Iowa Center for Advancement, a position held since June 2020, focused on cultivating relationships with philanthropists across multiple states to secure financial support for the university. Prior to this role, Aamir was an Advancement Officer at Drake University, successfully soliciting major gifts while conducting a feasibility study for the university’s comprehensive campaign. Experience also includes serving as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving at Grinnell College, where Aamir managed fundraising volunteers and secured significant annual and major gifts.
