Liz Watson

Liz Watson is an accomplished professional in the fashion industry, currently serving as an External Examiner in Fashion Business Technology at The University of Manchester since January 2024. With extensive experience at Nottingham Trent University, Liz has held several prominent roles, including Deputy Head of Fashion Management, Marketing and Communication, and Principal Lecturer across various fashion programs. Liz's expertise encompasses operational oversight and strategic alignment within academia, supported by a rich background in commercial due diligence, product development, and design leadership from positions at Quantum Clothing Group Ltd and Coats Viyella. Liz holds a BA Hons in Textile Design from the University of Leeds and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Additionally, Liz has recently completed a Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute.
