Niamh May Nelson-Owens

Niamh May Nelson-Owens is currently pursuing a PhD in Human Geography at The University of Manchester, focusing on vegan activism and carbon reduction. Prior experience includes serving as a Shift Manager at Honest Burgers Ltd, where effective team coordination and customer service were emphasized, alongside involvement in community initiatives. Niamh has also contributed to decarbonisation efforts for small businesses through an internship at The University of Manchester and developed digital marketing strategies at Robinson Brothers Limited. Niamh holds a Master's degree in Environmental Governance and a Bachelor’s in Geography, complemented by an academic exchange at The University of British Columbia. Additional roles include customer service positions and early work experience with the Environment Agency, showcasing depth in both practical and academic settings.
