Jackie Davis, PhD, MPH, is a seasoned professional in public health with extensive experience in academic and community health leadership. Currently serving as the Director of the Community Health & Wellness Institute at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke since August 2020, Jackie also works as an Evaluation Consultant for Mercer University - Penfield College. Previous roles include Adjunct Faculty at Georgia State School of Public Health and Adjunct Professor at Georgia State University College of Arts & Sciences. Earlier in the career, Jackie held multiple positions at Emory University School of Medicine from September 1997 to February 2013, including Program Manager and Sr. Research Project Coordinator. Academically, Jackie holds a PhD in Public Health with a focus on Community Health from Walden University, an MPH in Public Health Administration from the University of South Carolina, and a B.S. in Math/Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
