Eric Ansah

Eric Ansah is a Research Fellow at the Sustainable Minerals Institute, University of Queensland, involved in geochemical and hydrometallurgical technology research. As an Artificial Intelligence Researcher at Funartech, Eric supports operations research and machine learning applications for geometallurgy and mineral extraction. Previously, at the University of Melbourne, Eric served as a Lead Scientist/Engineer for the BHP/Think & Act Differently Fellowship, focusing on novel mineral leaching techniques. Eric holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne, specializing in copper recovery from chalcopyrite dissolution, and a Master's degree from Kyushu University in microbial enhanced oil recovery. Eric also has experience as a Patent Intern at Davies Collison Cave and as a Graduate Metallurgist at Northern Star KCGM Operations.
