Gemma Hodgetts

Gemma Hodgetts serves as a Council Member for the Queensland Division of the Institute of Public Administration Australia since July 2024 and has been the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Health and Wellbeing Queensland since February 2020, holding prior roles as Executive Director and General Manager. Gemma has contributed to The University of Queensland as an Adjunct Senior Fellow since July 2022, and held the position of Senior Director at Queensland Health from 2017 to 2020. Prior experience includes serving as Director in the Department of State Development from 2013 to 2017, and various roles within the Queensland Government from 2006 to 2013, including Principal Advisor in the Strategy and Legal Division. Gemma's educational background includes a Graduate qualification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and multiple degrees from Griffith University in areas such as Business Administration, Public Policy, and Business Administration.
