Julian Raxworthy

Julian Raxworthy is an experienced professional in the field of landscape architecture, currently serving as Associate Professor and Discipline Lead at the University of Canberra since January 2021. Raxworthy also holds the position of Honorary Senior Fellow at The University of Queensland and has been the Principal Landscape Architect at FREE-RANGE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS since 2008. Previous academic roles include Senior Lecturer at the University of Cape Town and Queensland University of Technology, as well as visiting professor positions at the École nationale supérieure de paysage and the University of Virginia. Raxworthy's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Landscape Architecture from The University of Queensland and multiple qualifications from RMIT University and TAFE NSW, with ongoing studies in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of New England.
