Leela Dilkes-Hoffman

Leela Dilkes-Hoffman, PhD, is an accomplished professional in the fields of circular economy and sustainability, currently serving as the Circular Economy and Sustainability Lead Trainer at Evolveable Consulting since October 2023. Leela holds a position as a Senior Research Academic at The University of Queensland, focusing on public attitudes towards plastics across multiple countries. As the founder of Dilkes-Hoffman Designs, an art business co-owned with Leela's sister, Leela creates jewelry while their sister produces watercolors and papercuts. Previous experience includes roles at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, managing and contributing to various research and innovation projects related to plastics and circular economy, as well as a competitive fellowship as a Westpac Future Leader. Leela's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of Queensland, emphasizing the role of biodegradable plastics.
