Nick Tate

Nick Tate is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the technology sector. Currently serving as the Immediate Past President of the Australian Computer Society since January 2009, Tate has also held various executive positions including National Vice President and National Treasurer. As President of the South-East Asia Regional Computer Consortium since 2018, Tate's influence extends internationally. In addition to being Managing Director and CEO of Haroldton Associates since 1999, Tate has also contributed to The University of Queensland as an Adjunct Professor and Director of Information Technology Services. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity from Deakin University and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Astronomy, and Mathematics from the University of St Andrews. Tate's leadership in significant projects, such as the $50 million RDSI Project, showcases a commitment to advancing research infrastructure in Australia.
