Sarah Abdulkhalek is a dedicated student leader at The University of Queensland, involved in programs that encourage women to pursue careers in computing and engineering. Currently serving as a Women in Computing Student Leader and a Women in Engineering Student Leader, Sarah actively promotes female participation in STEM fields through workshops and events. With experience as a research assistant focused on game interface preferences and a summer internship in database modernisation at Commonwealth Bank, Sarah combines academic knowledge with practical experience. In addition, Sarah has held roles such as UQ Skirts Social Officer, planning networking events for engineering students, and has interned at Ambient Systems and EY, further enhancing skills in technology and entrepreneurship. Sarah is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering at The University of Queensland, following a distinguished French Baccalaureate.
