Simon Collyer

Simon Collyer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in eLearning systems and project management. Serving as the Manager of Elearning Systems and Support at The University of Queensland since June 1999, Simon oversees the integration of digital and physical learning environments. Simon's research interests focus on the impact of technology on industry evolution and the challenges of keeping pace with change. Notable project management achievements include significant transformations in eLearning, centralized email and calendar systems for thousands of users, and the deployment of virtual classroom systems. Simon holds a PhD in Management for Dynamic Environments, a Master's in Project Management, and a BA in Computer Science and Psychology from The University of Queensland, in addition to serving as a Senior Fellow at the Higher Education Academy. Prior experience includes a role as a Technology Consultant at BDO Australia Limited, where Simon led teams in guiding top professional firms into the digital age.
