Katie Ellis has had a long and successful career at The University of Sheffield, where Katie currently holds the title of Senior Lecturer in Child and Family Wellbeing. Katie has also served as a Research Associate on various projects focusing on children's participation in family life and pathways into and out of crime. In addition, Katie was a Leverhulme Research Fellow, conducting research on the concept of 'care' for students transitioning from local authority care to university. Katie's educational background includes a Ph.D. from The University of Sheffield, a Master's Degree from Northumbria University, and a Bachelor's Degree from Northumbria University.
