Nathan Edwards

Nathan Edwards is a University Teacher in Landscape Architecture at the University of Sheffield, focusing on master planning, detailed design, planting, climate advocacy, nature recovery, and co-creation. As Chair of the Sheffield Street Tree Partnership since March 2022, Nathan promotes effective management and public engagement concerning street trees, aiming to enhance canopy cover and tree equity in the city. In February 2024, Nathan became the DAC Landscape Advisor for the Diocese of Sheffield, providing guidance on environmental matters related to church buildings and land in alignment with the Church of England's climate commitments. Previously, as Director at Urban Wilderness, Nathan contributed to the company's growth and managed complex projects, while earlier experience includes roles as Associate Director at FPCR Environment and Design Ltd and Consultant at ERM, along with prior landscape architecture roles. Nathan holds a Post Graduate Diploma and a Dual Hons degree in Landscape Architecture and Town and Regional Planning from the University of Sheffield.
