Rajdeep Ghosh

Rajdeep Ghosh, Ph.D., currently serves as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at both The University of Sheffield and the Insigneo Institute, focusing on developing subject-specific finite element models of vertebral bodies with metastasis and estimating fracture risks for affected patients. As a member of the Education and Student Committee for the European Society of Biomechanics, Rajdeep contributes to the advancement of biomechanical education. Previous roles include Project Scientist B at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where extensive work involved finite element modeling of mandibles and the biomechanical assessment of implants. Rajdeep holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Musculoskeletal Biomechanics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Agartala. Educational experiences include teaching various engineering courses and conducting research as a summer intern.
