Benjamin Tan

Benjamin Tan is an experienced professional currently serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London since October 2020, where responsibilities include leading the digital transformation of the undergraduate lab curriculum and managing a diverse team of students for equipment beta testing. Prior experience includes a research internship at Shell, focusing on reservoir fluid modeling, and roles as a Junior Process & Control Engineer and Junior Commissioning Engineer at Imperial College London, where Benjamin designed process systems and commissioned teaching units. Benjamin began a military career as an Armament Technician in the Singapore Armed Forces, achieving ranks of Lance Corporal and Corporal during service. Benjamin holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and completed A-Levels at Raffles Institution.
