Tony Prescott

Tony Prescott is a Professor of Cognitive Robotics at the University of Sheffield, with a career spanning several roles related to robotics and artificial intelligence. Prescott has been affiliated with various organizations, serving as Director at BOW Ltd since its inception in 2020 and as Director of Research at Consequential Robotics. Additional roles include Co-organiser of the Convergent Science Network and Director at Sheffield Robotics. Prescott's contributions also encompass collaborative research with the Bristol Robotics Laboratory and a distinguished fellowship at the Sage Center for the Study of Mind, University of California Santa Barbara. Notably, Prescott has led significant EU-funded projects, including BIOTACT and ICEA, while maintaining a strong educational background, earning a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Sheffield.
