Petra Marlin

Petra Marlin serves as the Director of International Recruitment and Admissions at The University of Southern Mississippi since January 2015, where responsibilities include planning international recruitment activities, managing the international admissions budget, overseeing application processing, and developing recruitment materials. Prior to this role, Petra held positions at Colorado State University as the Associate Director of Admissions Operations, focusing on marketing and recruitment, as well as experience as an academic counselor at Honolulu Community College and a peer career counselor at Kapi‘olani Community College. Educationally, Petra holds a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Technology and Design from The University of Southern Mississippi, a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, a Bachelor’s in International Relations, and an Associate degree in General Education from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
