Rusty Anderson

Rusty Anderson has served as the Director of Career Services at The University of Southern Mississippi since February 1995, where responsibilities include overseeing the operation of a comprehensive career services office that offers student employment, career counseling, job location and development, cooperative education, and placement services. Anderson implements a strategic vision for Career Services, strengthens relationships between campuses, employers, students, and university staff, and develops long-term strategic plans for career development. Additionally, Anderson has experience as an instructor for both a Job Seeking Skills class and a Senior Seminar for the Tourism Management Department. Previous experience includes serving as Director at Millsaps College from July 1984 to January 1995. Rusty Anderson holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Social and Rehabilitation Services, both from The University of Southern Mississippi.
