Ceri Hirst

Ceri Hirst is an experienced professional in the field of epidemiology and real-world evidence, currently serving as the Director of RWE and Innovative Evidence at Novartis since October 2023 and as the Chair of the Clinical Ethics Committee at the University of Stirling since August 2023. Previously, Ceri held various leadership roles at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, including Director of Policy & Partnerships and Real World Evidence Strategy Lead, and worked as a Principal Epidemiologist at Roche. Ceri's career also includes positions at AstraZeneca, RTI International, the University of Liverpool, and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency. Academic accomplishments include a PhD in Epidemiology focusing on Child Health from the University of Liverpool, and several postgraduate certificates from esteemed institutions such as The University of Edinburgh and The London School of Economics and Political Science.
