Dr. Will McConn-Palfreyman

Dr. Will McConn-Palfreyman currently serves as the Head of Psychology at Scottish Golf and holds a lecturer position in Sport Psychology at the University of Stirling. As a Chartered Sport & Exercise Psychologist with the British Psychological Society since 2013, Dr. McConn-Palfreyman has worked across various sports disciplines, including rugby, cycling, MMA, football, and disability sport. Previous roles include Deputy Academic Director at Strathclyde Business School, Sport Psychologist at the sportscotland institute of sport, and Sports Tutor for sportscotland, focusing on safeguarding and child protection in sport. Dr. McConn-Palfreyman's academic background includes a PhD titled 'leadership in practice' from the University of Strathclyde and various degrees in Psychology and Sports Management from institutions such as Liverpool John Moores University and University College Dublin.
