Jo Speed

Jo Speed has extensive experience in career guidance and employability, currently serving as the Work Based Learning and Skills Manager at the University of Stirling since October 2003. In this role, Jo supports academic colleagues in the Business School to enhance employer-student connections for authentic learning experiences. Previous positions include Business Engagement Manager, where responsibilities involved building relationships with external organizations to create work-based learning opportunities. Jo has also worked in various temporary roles at Glasgow Caledonian University and the University of Dundee, providing career advising and coordinating events. Jo's career began at Prudential as a Graduate Trainee/Business Development Analyst, and educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Geography from The University of Edinburgh and a PG Diploma in Careers Guidance from Edinburgh Napier University.
