Dr. Richard Brown

Dr. Richard Brown serves as Executive Vice Chancellor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga since April 1984, holding a key leadership role in institutional financial planning, budgeting, and oversight of numerous operational areas including Human Resources, Campus Police, and Information Technology. Dr. Brown is instrumental in managing capital projects and auxiliary services, while also acting as a financial liaison for the U C Foundation, which boasts over $200 million in resources and assets. Dr. Brown holds a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Organizational Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
