Gregory (Greg) Heath is a distinguished academic and health scientist with extensive experience in chronic disease and behavioral epidemiology. Since July 2005, Gregory has served as a Professor of Medicine at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine Chattanooga. Additionally, Gregory holds multiple roles at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, including Guerry Professor Emeritus in Public Health and previous positions as Guerry Professor and Assistant Provost for Research and Engagement, as well as Head of the Department of Health and Human Performance. Prior to these roles, Gregory spent two decades at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a Lead Health Scientist and Epidemiologist, specializing in chronic disease prevention and health promotion. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Health Science from Loma Linda University and a postdoctoral training in Applied Physiology from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
