Jerold Hale

Jerold Hale is currently the Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Prior to this, they served as Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the College of Charleston from July 2013 to May 2019. From May 2010 to July 2013, Hale was the Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Hale began their career in academia as a Professor and Department Head at The University of Georgia from July 1991 to May 2010.

Jerold Hale's educational career includes a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University in Political Science, and a post-graduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
