David Harrell

David Harrell serves as the Director of Gift Planning at the University of Tennessee Foundation since January 2022. Prior to this role, David was the Director of Annual Giving and Scholarships at Pellissippi State Community College from July 2017 to December 2021, where accomplishments included raising $1.6 million during the PSTCC Capital Campaign and developing the Student Opportunity Fund. David also held the position of Director of Development and Community Relations at The Salvation Army from June 2014 to July 2017, leading fundraising efforts that achieved $2.3 million, and managed various development activities. Earlier experience includes roles in sales and account management at companies such as Postec, Inc., Data Futures, and Cash Register Systems. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
