Bernd Meibohm is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in pharmaceutical sciences. Currently serving as the UTHSC Distinguished Professor and Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Programs at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center since July 1999, Meibohm has contributed significantly to academic research and education. Previously, Meibohm held the position of Assistant Professor at the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy from November 1997 to June 1999 and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Florida from November 1995 to October 1997. Meibohm earned a Doctor of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) in Pharmaceutics from Technische Universität Braunschweig from 1989 to 1994, following a foundational education at the same institution from 1984 to 1988.
