Jarrod Young serves as the Director of Operations, Technology and Business Development at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center since June 2016, overseeing simulation operations and managing a team of at least eight direct reports. Responsibilities include advising on operations and technology, developing strategic goals for CHIPS, lifecycle management of equipment, overseeing budget and fiscal management, and collaborating on philanthropic initiatives. Previously held positions include Simulation Operations Lead and Interim Co-Director, where Jarrod focused on refining operational processes and ensuring program accreditation. Prior experience includes serving as a Clinical Simulation Specialist at The University of Alabama at Birmingham and as a Rehabilitation Technology Specialist with the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services. Jarrod holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Martin and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
